Welcome to the Blackberry Inn, one of the Inns at Blackberry Common, offering you the finest lodging and dining accommodations right in the heart of Camden.
Unique in Camden, Blackberry Inn and our sister inn, The Elms, sit side by side amid an acre of splendid perennial gardens just three blocks to the harbor. The setting is quiet and serene, creating a quiet oasis for guests to relax and enjoy all the seasons of Camden.
Blackberry Inn, a gracious 1849 “painted lady” Victorian, has been hosting guests for over 50 years. Today our guests enjoy both modern amenities and the charm and grace of yesteryear. Gracious parlors, with original wide board floors, ornate plaster moldings and tin ceilings are welcoming gathering places for guests. A game of scrabble or good book in front of the fire with a glass of wine is a favorite on a winter’s eve. During the warm summers and fall, wander out onto the patios, follow the paths to delight in the solitude of our ever changing Maine gardens, complete with a blackberry patch!
Guestrooms invite you to unwind and welcome you with thoughtful amenities. Each room is individually air-conditioned and many are warmed by gas fireplaces. Wireless internet is available throughout the Inn. All guestrooms have a private bath, many with whirlpools or victorian clawfoot soaking tubs, to sooth your senses. Our garden rooms and suites offer sitting areas and private entrances amid hidden garden walkways.
Enjoy the little luxuries that make all the difference! From comfy robes and thick thirsty towels and our signature bath products to the richly appointed custom linens that wrap the king and queen size beds, you’ll feel pampered and soothed.
